You have the most important job in the world right now. Our kids depend on you. Please don't mess it up.
In Europe/christian countries we celebrate christmas - not for buying and consuming, but because a child was born.
We celebrate the love in the world.
For me it is a special holiday since I gave birth to my child. And there is no day where I'm not looking for answers to one day give to my grown-up loved one why humankind loves fossil fuels, money and profit more than our children, nature and living in a safe and proper climate and environment.
Acting as a parent means worshipping LOVE and doing everything to end fossil fuels! I hope you too. We only have one chance. ACT NOW!
I want my children to have a safe world to grow into adulthood in. I want them to know the beautiful forests and rivers that give life to our communities. I am calling #FromOurHearts for an end to fossil fuels and climate justice.
Come on Ireland - please lead the way for EU countries to sign the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty www.fossilfueltreaty.org
We live in a world, still powered by fossil fuels. In the developed countries our riches still depend in the use of oil, gas and coal. But we realized since the 60th, that these riches come at the high price of climate change, effecting us and our children up to the point of loosing our save environment which gives us the possibility to grow enough food, provides us with enough water and comparably stable weather conditions for humans.
But we have found the alternative, we can make the transition to Green Energy. It's a matter of political choices to do it now and stop the big oil and coal and gas companies from still pursuing their business model at the cost of us all. Dear politicians, do ist NOW! These companies want to make profit from coal, gas and oil as long as possible, it's up to politics to change the conditions so they can't anymore. Decide on high prices for the emmission of CO2. Use the power of the market (the invisble hand) by putting an effektive price in the emissions that currently we all pay. And combine it with a compensation for the poor.
You can make the changes that are possible, but the time ist NOW!
As a mother, I try to teach my children empathy, a willingness to cooperate, tolerance and respect for nature. However, these skills/values are in deep contrast to our economic system, which is based on the exploitation of people and nature. As a mother, I am required to set limits for my children when they behave in a harmful way towards other children. Why do politicians around the world fail to set limits on the fossil fuel industry, even though it harms humanity as a whole?

Be human - be smart! Learn from history, listen to the science and act now! For the future of the creation, the one and only planet we have to habitate. For the future of our children and humankind - stop exploitation of fossil fuels. With all the love to amazing life - act before it becomes too late!
There must be regard to General Comment 26. Our children have rights, and governments and corporations have a duty to uphold them. New coal, oil & gas projects diminish the rights of our kids. Subsidies for these projects diminish the rights of our kids. Investing in these projects instead of renewable projects diminishes the rights of our kids. We need to put #KidsFirst before it is too late.

The other COP, we danced in the streets, joy in our hearts, we thought we were free but we were in danger. COP28 is ongoing occupied with 2456 fossil fuels lobbyists indicating that the COP is loss and damage. We the vulnerable communities are coming together as coalition of parents to ask our leaders to rise up and power up renewable energy and phase out fossil fuels for the safe of the children. End fossil fuels now. We have no time to lose. Please stop robbing future generations of a livable planet.
We must stick to our demands that those who can go big, do so; we will not be satisfied with half measures. Utility, gas, oil and coal companies all need to become renewable energy companies - or they need to shut down. We need multinational cooperation that demands zero emissions and a closed loop mentality, and we need everyone to consider the fragility of our global commons. We need elected leaders to be working on climate action plans on the IMPLEMENTATION of these plans - now. These plans must be comprehensive and inclusive, inspiring and demanding a just transition that incorporates the needs of all people. Clearly this will be hard work, but transitions and transformations are coming, whether we want them to or not....We need to imagine the future we want and make it happens! Our children deserve no less An except from my book, "How to Talk to Your Kids About Climate Change, Turning Angst into Action." #FromOurHearts

Today we unite in a digital protest against deforestation and gas flaring, two destructive forces threatening our planet. Deforestation robs us of vital ecosystems and biodiversity, while gas flaring exacerbates climate change. Every single child deserves to live in a safe environment with clean air, water and food. The science is clear we are heading to a climate catastrophe. We need a fair transition from fossil fuels, we need to stop plundering our planetâs resources and reduce consumption. #FromOurHearts our children have a right to a safe future.
The future health of our children is our top priority. We are taking a stand #FromOurHearts to call for an end to fossil fuels and clean air.
We need to stop, take a breath, and redesign our cities to eliminate fossil fuels and plastics. Whatever the cost of doing so. The cost of not doing is far greater.
The time has come to say no to new fossil fuels. As mothers, we speak #FromOurHearts and call to end fossil fuels. Letâs prioritise our children and their future in ensuring a healthier world!
Climate justice is social justice. Therefore, the fight against the climate crisis is a profoundly social fight. We care about all people, everywhere on this globe, those living now as well as future generations. They all deserve a livable planet; and nobody should be exposed unfairly to the impact of the climate crisis - much less those who have contributed least. #FromOurHearts

Stop burning things. Stop robbing our childrenâs future. All of life depends on fast reduction of greenhouse gasses. Stop greenwashing the use of renewable, bio or green fuels that burn. We have all the green non fuel burning tech we need to heat/cool homes and get around on the ground or ocean. No more false solutions. Wind, solar, back up batteries, ground and air source heat pumps, low impact hydro ( no flooding or dams), geothermal networks, heat sharing, electric vehicles and sails and electric for boats. These are healthier and lower cost and donât emit like fuels that burn!

The Nigerian Situation is bleak! Already our children are suffering, getting education is as difficult already, pollution, poverty, lack, just name it. World leaders must also look beyond climate and loss and damage to help poorer countries stabilise politically and economically in order that the intervention for climate can be effective. Africa as a whole are under the shackles of colonisation and capitalist driven world we need the Just Transition from a capitalist fossil fuels driven global economy to one that is people and planet oriented before profit. And now is the time to act. It is already getting too late.

We need a treaty to stop extraction of fossil resources of all kinds. We can not afford to let out more Co2 in the athmosphere as we are heading towards risig of temperaturen above + 2 degrees as it is today. Dear leaders!
I'm so worried, scared and angry. Since now 4 years I'm fighting for clinate justice for a better future for my 2 kids and theirs. Why don't you support your own agreement, the agreement of Paris to stay under 1.5° of global warming? Is that what you understand of being respectful to the following generations and stand behind your own word? Please think of the future of your own children. Please just read ONE summary of the IPCC and honestly tell me, you don't panic afterwards.
Dear politicians and leaders at COP28, the time has come to prioritise on actions against climate change! No more subventions for fossil fuels but instead for renewable power! And please introduce a speed limit. Hear us speak #FromOurHearts. Our childrenâs future and all mankind depends on it.

The future of our children is our top priority. We want to see economic growth decoupled from resource use, to stop fossil fuels financing and use this money to help businesses to make the transition towards circular economy, to train entrepreneurs, unemployed people, workers on ecodesign, industrial symbiosis, servitization, upcycling... #FromOurHearts we want to live in a world where the life of materials is extented as much as possible.

Grazie

COP28, include air quality in global climate commitments. Let's end fossil fuel subsidies and redirect resources for a just transition. #FromOurHearts
COP28 is a chance to "supercharge solutions" for clean air and a safer future. Let's work together for our children's well-being. #FromOurHearts
Our children's health depends on COP28 action. Let's transition to clean energy and reduce air pollution. #FromOurHearts
Clean air initiatives pay for themselves and save lives. COP28, prioritise public health and climate action.
99% of the world breathes polluted air. COP28, let's commit to clean air for the sake of our children's health. #FromOurHearts
At COP28, we need to focus on clean air. Air pollution connects climate and health - time for real progress. #FromOurHearts
Air pollution is a global health crisis, harming children. COP28, it's time to act for clean air and a safer future. #FromOurHearts
Leaders at COP28, let's put air pollution on the agenda for better public health and climate action. #FromOurHearts
We parents stand ready to help at COP28. Let's reduce air pollution, protect children's health, and combat the climate crisis. #FromOurHearts
Air pollution impacts low-income nations the most. It's time for global commitments to address it at #COP28. #FromOurHearts
We mothers, beseech your leadership to place air pollution squarely on the agenda of #COP28 and drive national commitments and international funding for improved air quality.
We, parents are concerned that much like the climate crisis, air pollution also has disproportionate impacts on certain populations. Death rates from air pollution are highest in low- and middle-income countries. But as the climate, health and economic impacts of air pollution transcend international borders, it is incumbent for air quality to be integrated into global climate commitments and funding.
We, parents implore the leaders at #COP28 #FromOurHearts to recognise air pollution and the co-benefits of cleaner air across key areas: the Global Stocktake, the Mitigation Work Programme, COP28 Cover Decision, and the Just Transition Work Programme.
We request leaders #FromOurHearts to deliver tangible progress in ending fossil fuel subsidies, redirecting these resources to accelerate mitigation actions and foster a just transition!
To ensure a transformational COP that âsupercharges solutionsâ as all of yourselves at the Presidency have pledged, it must deliver specific steps to reduce air pollution, as a way of tackling the climate emergency while delivering rapid win-wins for public health, economies and hence, the future of our children!
We, parents, call #COP28 to advocate for comprehensive air quality monitoring, showcasing the benefits of clean air to further garner public support for climate action, which will quite obviously work to protect our childrensâ health and future!
As very concerned parents, #FromOurHearts we would like to reiterate, the five urgent and effective interventions to improve both health and climate outcomes given by âThe Global Alliance on Health and Pollutionâ
Replace coal with renewable energy for total power production.
Transition from diesel and gasoline vehicles to electric ones in both the public and private sectors.
Eliminate uncontrolled diesel emissions.
Prevent crop burning.
Avert forest fires.
The IPCC AR6 report underscores that clean air measures will not only pay for themselves but also save lives, reduce disease burdens, and enhance food security. These initiatives will bolster resilience against respiratory infections, a major threat to our young children!
It's crucial to note that carbon capture technologies alone are insufficient, as they do not address all toxic pollutants and particulates, including black carbon, which exacerbates warming. Only actions that enhance air quality will deliver the public health co-benefits of climate action and a healthy future for our children!
Primary drivers of Air Pollution, including fossil fuel combustion, are intrinsically linked to greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, ending the use of fossil fuels is vital to unlock the significant co-benefits of clean air and a healthy future for all our children!
We, parents, beseech your leadership at #COP28 to place air pollution squarely on the agenda and drive national commitments and international funding for improved air quality. Air pollution, a pervasive public health crisis and climate change accelerator, affects 99% of the global population, falling below WHO guidelines that includes all our children too!
The impending Global Stocktake will serve as a stark reminder of our collective failure to meet Paris Agreement commitments. Far too often, international gatherings like COP have overlooked the essential link between human and planetary health, resulting in millions of premature deaths, health crises, and economic burdens. We parents implore the leaders at #COP28 #FromOurHearts that all their decisions will reflect on the future of all our children!
We commend #COP28 Presidencyâs commitment to addressing climate-related health impacts through the inaugural Health Day and inter-ministerial meeting. But let's not stop at words; we need tangible action to combat air pollution, the real nexus of climate and health for all our children. #FromOurHearts
Our kids deserve a world free from fossil fuel health risks. We're joining global health leaders at #COP28 to prioritise their well-being and demand clean air for their future. #FossilFree4Health #FromOurHearts

Addressing gaps and barriers is crucial at #COP28. Let's unlock enhanced ambition through international cooperation, securing a better world for our children. It's our duty. #ClimateHope #FromOurHearts
At #COP28, we're all about progress and action. The Just Transition Work Programme should report on voluntary initiatives, providing recommendations for future partnerships. Our children's world needs us to act. #ClimateAction #FromOurHearts
The Just Transition Work Programme at #COP28 must be based on equity and common but differentiated responsibilities. Let's give guidance on transitions in the energy system and support for a just transition. Our children's future is non-negotiable. #ClimateJustice #FromOurHearts
A decision from the Mitigation Work Programme at #COP28 is essential. We need to act on recommendations from the first Global Stocktake to protect our children's future. #ClimateLeadership #FromOurHearts
The Global Stocktake at #COP28 sends a powerful message: fossil fuel production undermines the Paris Agreement. We're here for a world that's safe for our children. #ClimateChange #FromOurHearts

I NOSTRI FIGLI HANNO DIRITTO AL FUTURO
Dear decision-makers, in the past 50 years I have made important choices toward the *perspective of a healthy and welcoming world for us and our children*. I have voted for those Who were more aware and willing to make safe policy in this regard. I was very sad at the impression that the gap between the decisions and the satisfaction of these *needs of mine* were getting deeper. For example veganism, or giving away my Natural gas car.
As a parent, I write you from #FromOurHearts. Please make Paris agreement on climate a reality, don't insult earth inhabitants. Take care of them by ending fossil fuels as soon as possible!
As a parent with all my heart I wish for a non fossil fuel treaty signed by all countries. So we can save this planet for the children today and for future generations. â€ïž
At COP28, letâs unite in the mission to prioritise our children. Political leaders, please say no to new fossil fuels and support our prayers for a healthy future for all our children #FromOurHearts.
Dear world leaders, I beg of you to do everything in your power to ensure a safe future for my own two children Signe (3) and August (1), and all other children on this planet. You will have millions of parents backing you up! #FromOurHearts

I want see the end of fossil fuel, only solar and wind energy
Our world is already on fire. If we do not switch our economies from the fossil fuel addiction, young generation will end up in wars, catastrolphies and pandemics. Please, negotiating and taking decisions at #COP28, think about your children and grandchildren. What is the world you want them to live in? Be brave and assertive about fossil fuel lobbyists. Put kidsâ safety, health and future in the centre of the decisions you take. #FromOurHeart
Dear politicians,
For the sake of our kids and their future, please start acting now! #FromOurHearts
Please, leaders of the world, let's stop using fossil fuels. We have to accelerate the transition to renewable sources of energy.

There is no future for our species if we do not face the climate crisis, with an immediate stop to fossil fuels and a serious program of mitigation, adaptation and social justice. Our children deserve a better world than the one we are leaving them. #FromOurHearts, we want to give them hope.

Currently, we and our children bear the consequences of the actions of previous generations. But there is still hope. Let's stop exploiting and burning fossil fuels, excessively cutting down natural forests for agricultural crops, and eliminating wild species of plants and animals. Let's share our place on Earth with other species and generations #FromOurHearts.

A 21 Century Wunderkammer
âšArt, myth, natural history & ecology meet in a quest for environmental enlightenment
In an extraordinary installation of over 500 works, made over a period of twenty five years, artist Angela Cockayne has assembled and created a contemporary cabinet of curiosity onboard an old forty-four foot wooden fishing vessel, nestling in a rural pasture in Cornwall. In a modern-day act of retrieval, commemoration, and futurity, the Ark Embrace hosts a collection of âundiscovered speciesâ and objects responding to the themes of environmental destruction and the Wunderkammer.
Embrace is a vessel; of metaphor and testimony, a keeper of the chanced upon, an ark filled with objects, stories and curiosity. Tim Dee reflects upon the living dead, the afterlife of an albatross left by a southerly tide. Philip Hoare finds a hag stone, a glass bead, a promise, hope and grace between the skin of water, and the shore. Rupert Read explains how climate grief might be the making of us, we feel eco-anxiety because we love and grieve. In Ghosts, Dr Sarah Chapman shines a light on Embrace, illuminating time, place and a vision of a precarious future yet to unfold. This Wunderkammer celebrates a curious voyage of discovery exploring the poetics of objects, and natural history.

A rapid shift from coal, oil and gas is needed to limit global warming. Yet, the latest @UNEP report finds countries plan to produce 110% more fossil fuels in 2030 than what's consistent with limiting warming to 1.5°C. COP28 leaders must signal the end of the fossil fuel era. Itâs about all our children and their future after allđ„Č

Despite a decade-long resistance against mining activity, displacement and deforestation, the Chhattisgarh government, led by the Congress, gave its final go-ahead for tree felling and initiation of mining activity in Hasdeo on April 6. The final approval allows for the non-forest use of land for the Parsa opencast coal mining project, which falls in the Surajpur and Surguja districts.
The deforestation and mining will likely displace over 700 people and threaten the independence and livelihoods of tribal communities in the area, activists say citing a study. The Parsa coal block has been allocated to Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited while coal mine developer-cum-operator operations have been awarded to Adani Enterprises.
Protestors had organised a sit-in in December 2019 against these alleged actions and marched for a 300 km march to Raipur last year urging chief minister Bhupesh Baghel and governor Anusuiya Uikey to take action. Baghel had then promised to take action and order an inquiry, but there has been none so far.
Hasdeo resident Ramlal, who has been named in the FIR, said, âWe have been protesting relentlessly for the past 10 years. We protested for 75 days straight last year ⊠All the assurances given to us have proven to be hollow.â

Deep is calling on deep #FromOurHearts to yours. We are calling for change of hearts, which will translate to change of attitudes and then to change of policies and actions. This generation needs to save the planet for generations coming after us. One major way to do this is to effect a paradigm shift from fossil fuels to other sustainable (renewable) sources of energy. Each of us has a role to play on this. Specifically, the leaders of governments around the world should rise to the occasion and take the bull by the horn. Now is time for action, not for more promises.
To all political leaders at COP28, our children are counting on you. Keep children in your decisions by ending new fossil fuels and supporting policies and decisions for a healthy future for all our kids! #FromOurHearts
As our emission accelerate and the science of the crisis also accelerates toward us, it is clear that we have allowed the wrong people to make the wrong decisions for over 60 years!
Your 'Silence is now collusion', and our governments pouring money into this hateful death machine. A key method to stop this is
1. raise your voice
2. stop the money flow
3. if your government refuses use non violent civil disobedience.
4. to do nothing is only an option for those who agree.
'Globally, fossil fuel subsidies were $7 trillion or 7.1 percent of GDP in 2022, reflecting a $2 trillion increase since 2020 due to government support from surging energy prices. Subsidies are expected to decline in the near-term as energy price support policies is unwound and international prices fall, but then rise to $8.2 trillion by 2030 as the share of fuel consumption in emerging markets (where price gaps are generally larger) continues to climb. 18 percent of the 2022 subsidy reflects undercharging for supply costs (explicit subsidies) and 82 percent for undercharging for environmental costs and forgone consumption taxes (implicit subsidies), with the share of explicit falling to 8 percent by 2030.

I live in intermittent fear for what my children are going to face. Famine, and drought, which will lead to war. We're in time to change it. Governments are moving too slowly, blocked by industry and multi nationals, it all comes down to money, of course.
There is no Superman coming to save us, it's us, we are one collective superman. It's time to save our children's future, right now, no more excuses. If you don't buy it, they can't sell it. Ask yourself the question... can I live without this? If the answer is 'yes', then please DON'T BUY IT. Consumerism is killing my children. Is it really worth it? I know what I think. That's why I only buy second hand, more of a hassle. But it's not a big deal. I'll be able to look my future grandchildren in the eye and say 'I did everything I could, darling'
Reject what you can, reduce the rest.
Reuse water (from hand washing, showers, toilets, dishes....) for flushing the toilet or watering plants or mopping the floor. Reuse food (for another meal, for animals, for compost...). Reuse clothes, books, toys, bikes....I tell my kids that nothing truly belongs to us, we're just using it until we don't need it then we have to pass it on to the next person, so look after it (especially clothes, toys, books, but works for everything)

I have been observing the rising of operating costs in agriculture and drought level due to climate change. This has led to decrease in productivity in agriculture and cause malnutrition to many children. If we will can't take climate action we won't be able to secure our future generation. We need climate action now to end food insecurity in our communities

We appeal to the political leaders attending COP28 to keep children at the heart of their decision making. It is not enough to have good intentions about reducing net carbon emissions- you need to create the enabling policies that make it happen. Emissions from vehicles that run on fossil fuels, electricity from coal powered generating plants and lack of affordable cooking fuel are some of the greatest contributors to air pollution. With proper policies and appropriate subsidies, each of these can be tackled. We appeal to you #FromOurHearts to ensure that your legacy is of a cleaner, greener, and healthier world.

As a mother, Iâm deeply concerned about the world our children will grow up in. I worry that they will grow up in a dying world.

My child might be one of them.

Only present and future is left in our hands. Exploitation of resources have been max at present to leave nothing for future generation.Development of any country will enjoy only when the countrymen are healthy enough to do so. The era of anthropocene will be ended by our own hands. It's a request to the world leaders to urgently look into the following area :
1) encourage environment researches to make possible the sustainable options
2) End fossil fuel to reduce global warming and threat to all the living beings of our planet.
3) Afforestation needs to be immediately boosted to compensate for the lost green cover.
4) limiting fishing and discouraging the beef industry which is eating up our major green lands
5) encourage the production and research on solar vehicles
6) tap the wind energy for sustainable development.
7) more efficient waste management and ban single use plastic.
8)make giant companies answerable and responsible towards environment.
9)last but not the least make environmental education must every where to increase human sensitivity.
Hope some action is taken at the earliest to save our children.
Clean air should be mandatory for all including our children without having to ask for it.
Iâm a mother to a 6 year old girl. Iâm so worried about the world she will grow up in. Will she dare to have her own child one day. We know the emissions have to go down very fast, but latest news says they are still growing.
I beg you to do your best to change this developement while we still have the chance.

I advocate for clean, breathable air. Put simply, it is essential for our species to survive.
Our feet are strongly arrayed to the Earth. Our bodies are alive because of the Sun, the Air and the Water that sustains them.
It is not a matter of money nor a matter of material interest, it is a matter of life and death and becoming conscious about it.
We humans created what is widely described as the biggest existential threat to our future, ever. Our children will have to deal with the consequences. Shortages of food and water, global conflict and human displacement due to areas of the world becoming uninhabitable. Species loss on an industrial scale, in itself threatening human existence. Sea level rises on an unprecedented scale leading to yet more severe weather events. A vicious cycle of destructive events which threaten everything we love.
I am a mother of three beautiful boys and of course I am desperate to do what I can for them to have a safe, peaceful and healthy life. But they will be the last ones to suffer.
There are already so so many mothers greiving the lost safety, peace and health of their children. So many mothers wondering how they can feed their child tonight. How they will make it through the winter. Or summer.
There are already so many fleeing fires, draughts, floods.
We canât do anything less than ALL WE CAN to save this beautiful planet and give all of our children a safe, peaceful and healthy future.
All mothers Unite.
Because we love our children.

Dear Leaders
I have two young children aged 4 and 6 and I lie in bed at night worrying that my children will die young. That they wonât get to have a family of their own or experience even their 20âs. I read the dire warnings of scientists who talk of crop failures, food shortages, permafrost, the potential collapse of the Gulf Stream and more extreme weather, disease, lack of clean water and I can barely imagine what their world is going to look like. We have reached 1.5 degrees of warming far sooner than we imagined and we are hurtling towards 3 degrees. I feel my whole experience of motherhood has been tainted by the fear that I am leaving my children a planet that is not going to support life on earth in the near term. My 6 year old asked me whether the planet was going to die before he did and quite simply, I just didnât know the answer because it might.
Our leaders are exploring for yet more fossil fuels, âmaxing outâ is the term you used to describe Rosebank. It is shameful.
Individual actions are not enough. We need proper leadership, we need the UK government to protect our children and protect us. We need no new fossil fuels. We need solar and wind energy and we need our rivers to be protected. We need system change. We need new homes to be built with heat pumps and solar panels and property insulation.
We need you to act like our lives depend on it - because they do.
To think we can burn waste for energy would be an oil and gas company dream. They care for their profits not for our kids futures.
Workers in the forests need jobs to go to. We canât just leave them with no work.

Kids have human rights. General Comment No26 spells it out clearly. Governments must act to protect them from future climate harm.
Our friends in Fiji where we holiday are hit with cyclone after cyclone. You canât build back from that. We need a fossil fuel non-proliferation treaty to stop the problem. Money canât stop cyclones only changing how the rich countries do things can.
Every child deserves to learn. Natural disasters means kids miss school. Stop emissions so our kids can learn.
Those least responsible pay the highest price. Rich countries need to pay for the problems they have made.
To all political leaders at COP28, our children are counting on you. Keep children in your decisions by ending new fossil fuels and supporting policies and decisions for a healthy future for all our kids! #FromOurHearts
Our world is changing day by day as are we. As I look around at friends, family and our society, I see constant change, both in struggle and in strength. We are working on mitigation, adaptation and responses to our climate crisis and sometimes it feels hopeless. However, in the natural world I also see struggle, strength and something that brings me hope; the ability to flourish. Humans have this incredible ability and we will overcome! We will overcome our own weaknesses, we must. We are a part of nature and we are learning to thrive!

Infants and young children in Asia Pacific face an unequal burden of air pollution and environmental degradation. #FromOurHearts, end fossil fuels and take climate actions now that truly make a difference to the lives of our most valuable group - our young children!

The future health of our children is our top priority. We are taking a stand #FromOurHearts to call for an end to fossil fuels and clean air.
Our kids deserve world leaders who are working together to build the best future possible for all the worlds children. Instead there is war, greed and an unbelievable refusal to stop the major cause of climate change, which is the extraction, processing and burning of coal, oil and gas. For the love of our children we need to cooperate. A fossil fuel nonproliferation treaty is a plan we can all work towards. Put #KidsFirst and do what's necessary. History will be judging you all. It's your collective choice if our children have a great future or not. Imagine someone was making this choice for your future, what would you want them to do?

Dear fellow parents,
Our biggest job in life is to ensure the safety of our children. As a Norwegian, I feel ashamed of my government's determination to sabotage us, but giving ever new licences to produce oil and gas. Equinor, which is majority owned by the Norwegian state, are putting our children at risk by planning to produce oil and gas even after 2050. I promise to do anything I can to stop them on my end. I also thank each and every one of you for participating in the efforts which ultimately will be crucial for my children's wellbeing in the future. From the bottom of my heart, thank you đ©·
